M. LYNCH
Ms.
Lynch has more than twenty-five years of direct governmental, public
and media relations experience in Massachusetts. She is recognized as
one of the most talented legislative and public affairs strategists in
the business today, with a specialty in representing associations.
Ms. Lynch is founder and manager of Lynch Associates, Inc.; an
independent public affairs and strategic consulting firm. Lynch
Associates provides lobbying, strategic development and management
consulting services to a wide array of clients. The firm has been
particularly successful on a variety of licensing initiatives, most
recently licensing of home inspectors, and lobbying for state
appropriations.
Lynch Associates also provides association management services. Anne
Lynch serves as the Executive Director for the Massachusetts Motor
Transportation Association, Inc. In her capacity as Executive
Director, not only does Anne provide membership enhancement and
marketing services, but she also advocates extensively on behalf of
the commercial transportation industry to state legislators and
agencies. Anne sits on a variety of transportation planning committees
for the Commonwealth, such as the Transportation Plan Advisory
Committee and the Regional Transportation Advisory Council. Ms. Lynch
has also participated on committees designated to specific municipal
projects. Anne is involved in the transportation industry at the
national level as well; she is the Vice Chairman of the Transportation
Association Executives Council, which is comprised of a representative
from each of the 50 states.

Prior to founding Lynch Associates, Ms. Lynch served as Managing
Director for a top lobbying firm in Massachusetts. During her tenure
she directed all professional staff members and acted as legislative
and strategic counsel to clients of the firm, as well as leading new
business development for the firm. In addition, Ms. Lynch served as an
associate on state legislative affairs to Thomas P. O’Neill, III, at
McDermott/O’Neill Associates.
From 1978-1992, Ms. Lynch was the founder and President of Customized
Association Services Inc., a governmental affairs and association
management firm. Ms. Lynch provided clients with strategic planning,
direct lobbying, public and media relations, as well as grass roots
coalition building. She also provided clients with trade show and
exhibition management, public relations, advertising and collateral
material development. Her experience is evidenced in the exceptional
success of these events over years of continued representation.
Customized Association Services Inc. was purchased in 1992.
She also served as executive director and legislative counsel to the
Massachusetts Academy of Trial Attorneys. Ms. Lynch managed, directed
and lobbied on all legislative matters relative to the statewide trial
bar. These initiatives included auto insurance reform, medical
malpractice insurance and the implementation of the Workers
Compensation Reform act. During her leadership she increased
membership of the Academy by 45% in two years.
Ms. Lynch has represented a number of prominent professional
societies, organizations and trade associations as lead legislative
counsel and management consultant during her career. Clients included
the Public Relations Society of America – New England Chapter and the
New England Hospital Association. She has also represented the
Massachusetts Auto Body Association, the Massachusetts Independent
Auto Dealers Association, the Massachusetts Consumer Finance
Association and the Massachusetts Association of Life Underwriters, to
name a few. In addition, she has provided representation for public
safety organizations such as the State Police of Massachusetts and the
Massachusetts Chiefs of Police Association.
Ms. Lynch has participated in hosting political fundraising receptions
for a number of Massachusetts State Legislators and Constitutional
Officers, members of the Massachusetts Congressional Delegation,
including U.S. Senators Edward M. Kennedy and John Kerry, and for
Nobel Peace Prize recipient John Hume, the only member of both the
Irish and British Parliaments.
